I cleaned her for the first time since school started in August yesterday. It's like having a new car. I forgot the wheels were silver it had been so long. She really cleans up nice.

Nice! I see that's a 99-01 9-5; which trim is that?

It's a 2000 base. It has the premium package though. I paid $400 for her back in February.

Great! Now I wanna go pull my Viggen out of hibernation. (It's been in storage since August)
Beautiful 9-5, btw.

How's the paint quality? I've been very impressed with Saab paint pre-1995, but haven't had experience with the newer stuff.

Very nice, but what is that behind it?

They cost $25 total with stainless hardware (U-bolts). They carry my kayak and canoe just as well as a $200 Thule set would. I wish I had a fairing though.

The only non impact imperfection (previous owners hit a deer and left two dents in the hood) is a small peel in the clear coat on the right rear door. The silver ages nicely compared to my friend's '01 sage green 9-5 sedan. Her roof paint is starting to fade.

Is that a Dodge Dart next to the Studebaker, I mean Saab?

You should make a matching one out of a piece of board.

Indeed it is. It was my great grandmother's.
